Remember when parenting advice came from your Grandma, mom or that one parenting book? Now, it’s an avalanche of online “must-dos”, perfect Instagram families, and endless opinions. Parenting today isn’t just about raising kids-it’s navigating a storm of technology, societal pressure, and self-doubt.

Everyone is an expert online, but which advice works for your child? Screens everywhere, social media influencing young minds, and endless battles over screen time. The pressure to be perfect is the new virus, social media’s highlight reels make us feel we’re never doing enough. Juggling work, business, home, and emotional presence- it all makes it feel like a spinning of plates, all in time. We’re exhausted. Well, let me speak for myself- I am. Modern parenting can feel like a relentless race, leaving us drained and questioning ourselves. But here’s the truth: perfection isn’t the goal-Connection is.

How to stay sane:

Simplify: Tune out the noise. Find what works for your family, not what’s trending online.

Set Boundaries:  With tech, with work, and even yourself.

Self -Compassion: You’re not perfect, and that’s okay. Your kids don’t need perfection-they need you.

Stay grounded in faith: When the journey feels overwhelming, commit your efforts to God. Trust that even in the chaos, His guidance and grace will see you through.

Remember this:

Parenting isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about showing up, every day, with love, intention, patience and faith. In a world full of noise, your presence, devotion – and faith in God can be their safe harbor.

You’re not failing. You are parenting, and that’s the hardest, bravest job in the world.
